How to re-charge a card

In 8am™ LawPay, you can recharge a card from a previous transaction for up to 180 days after the original transaction date. To do so, follow the below steps:

  1. Log into LawPay.

  2. Select Transactions from the left navigation menu.

  3. Locate and click on the original transaction that has the card to be re-charged.

  4. On the right side of the page, select Re-charge.

  5. Enter an amount and an optional Reference or Invoice number.

  6. click Submit charge.

A few things to note when re-charging a card:

  • The original card information such as Card Holder Name, Zip Code, etc cannot be changed.

  • Transactions that originate from a schedule cannot be re-charged.
