Overview
In 8am LawPay, you can create a Scheduled Payment from a previous transaction.
This allows you to set up recurring payments without re-collecting card information.
To do so, follow the steps below:
Log into LawPay and select Transactions.
Select a transaction from the past six months.
Click Create Schedule on the right.
⚠️ Caution: The initial charge is separate from the recurring schedule. If you process a $500 payment now and set a $2,000 recurring limit, the client will be billed $2,500 in total. To avoid overcharging, ensure the initial payment is part of the recurring total.
