Tabs3 is an easy to use suite of software products for legal professionals that helps them with billing, practice management, and financials. If you are on an earlier Tabs3 version than 2019, there are multiple places to include your LawPay payment link in Tabs3 to remind your clients to make payments online.
First, you will need to copy your payment link from LawPay. To do so, follow the steps in this article.
Adding the payment link to your statement
From the top menu, click Statements and then Statement Setup > Statement Designer
Select the statement you would like to edit from the top left pane
Click the A icon from the top menu of the Statement Designer window to add a text box.
Drag the text box to your desired location, and paste the payment link previously copied from LawPay.
Save your changes.
Now, whenever you generate a statement and select this Statement layout, it will include your LawPay payment link.
Adding the payment link to your Email Template
From the top menu, click Statements and then Statement Setup > Email Templates.
If creating a new Email Template, fill in the Template ID, Description, and Email Identification fields. If editing an existing Email Template, simply select the Template ID from the Template ID drop-down menu in the top left.
Fill out the email message with your desired text.
To include your payment link, select the hyperlink icon.
Paste your payment link previously copied from LawPay into the URL field and press OK.
Save your changes.
Moving forward, whenever selecting this email template ID, it will include your payment link.
Adding the payment link to a specific client's statements.
Click Client Information from the Pinned Actions menu in the left pane.
If using an existing client, select the appropriate Client ID. If creating a new client, enter a new Client ID and enter the Client name.
Click Statement Options tab in Client Information window.
In the Beginning or Ending Statement Notes field, type your desired text and then paste your payment link previously copied from LawPay.
Save your changes.
Now, your payment link will be included in the statements for this particular client.
